Ever seen clog dancers and thought ‘I want to have a go at that’? If you’re returning, new to, or even if you’ve never seen any traditional dance before, forge & fledge clogs is the place for you. The six week course provides a safe and encouraging space to explore the varied clogging styles and repertoires found around England. Each week we'll compare different styles and learn new steps. By the end of the course, we'll have a finished routine for display. It’s all about exploring this amazingly rich tradition and having a good old dance!

Tutor: Robyn Wallace

Robyn Wallace is a Sheffield-based melodeon player, percussionist and dancer, originally from Rochdale. They are known for their performances with The Rosie Hood Band and the Bellamira Ceilidh Band, drawing influences from performing in brass bands as a child, as well as the playing of leading English box-players. Robyn has also taught and danced clog since the age of 12 and (more recently) rapper sword dancing with teams across the country.
